# FrontDesko MCP Server

A public [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server for
[FrontDesko](https://frontdesko.app) — the simple, free, modern hotel PMS for
independent hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, hostels and small chains.

**Endpoint:** `https://mcp.frontdesko.app/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, no auth, read-only)

Add it to your AI assistant and ask real questions — "what does a 20-room hotel
pay OTAs per year?", "FrontDesko vs Cloudbeds?", "which plan for a 12-room guest
house in Kenya?" — and get answers grounded in FrontDesko's published pages,
with source URLs.

All tools are read-only. Nothing is written, no bookings are created, and the
server stores nothing about you.

## About the data

Answers come from FrontDesko's own published pages, and every response includes
its source URLs. Competitor comparison figures reflect public information as
noted on each comparison page. The demo-availability tool queries a dedicated
demo property (rate-limited to 10 requests/minute per caller).

`createMcpHandler` and the MCP TypeScript SDK.

## FrontDesko

FrontDesko is hotel management software with an unusual model: the core — PMS,
commission-free direct booking engine, guest app, POS — is **free forever with
unlimited rooms**. Paid plans exist for two features: the OTA channel manager
and the Ask FrontDesko AI assistant.
