md2wechat is a Go-based CLI tool and MCP server that converts Markdown files into properly formatted WeChat Official Account (WeChat MP) articles and pushes them directly to the WeChat draft box. It integrates natively with Claude Code as a skill, enabling users to issue natural-language instructions like "write an article in Dan Koe style and push it to WeChat drafts" and have the full pipeline execute automatically. The toolchain includes eight commands covering the entire content workflow: `write` for drafting articles from a topic, `humanize` for removing AI-generated patterns, `generate_cover` and `generate_infographic` for AI image creation, `upload_image` for pushing assets to WeChat's permanent media library, and `convert` with a `--draft` flag for final publishing. A paid API mode unlocks 43 structured layout modules using `:::module` syntax (including `:::hero`, `:::callout`, and `:::timeline`) alongside 40 WeChat-tuned themes with deterministic output, while a free AI mode generates layout prompts for Claude or other LLMs to process. Content creators and developers automating WeChat publishing workflows are the primary audience.
