Godogen is a Claude Code skill (also compatible with Codex) that automates the full pipeline for building games in Godot 4, Bevy, or Babylon.js. Running `publish.sh` with a chosen engine and agent flag renders a game repository containing the appropriate skills and instructions; the agent then handles planning, code generation, asset creation, engine execution, and iterative self-repair. Asset generation draws on three external services: Gemini for reference images and characters, xAI Grok for textures and animated sprites via video generation, and Tripo3D for converting images into 3D models. Godot output targets C#/.NET 9 with proper scene trees, Bevy output produces Rust code with local rustdoc lookup, and Babylon.js output scaffolds TypeScript/Vite browser projects with hot reload and Chrome WebGL2 capture. The standout mechanic is frame-grounded self-repair, where the agent evaluates progress from actual screenshots rather than successful compilation, catching visual defects like clipping, wrong scale, or missing assets. Game developers and AI tooling researchers exploring autonomous creative pipelines are the primary audience.
