This project provides a localization patch for Claude Desktop that replaces the English-only interface with Simplified Chinese (zh-CN), Traditional Chinese Taiwan (zh-TW), or Traditional Chinese Hong Kong (zh-HK). On macOS, installation runs via a double-clicked `install-mac.command` script that patches `app.asar`, merges existing English locale keys with Chinese translations so untranslated strings fall back to English rather than disappearing, re-signs the modified app bundle with ad-hoc signatures, and writes the chosen locale to `~/Library/Application Support/Claude/config.json`. On Windows, `install-windows.bat` offers three modes: a Cowork-compatible mode that skips `app.asar` modification, an official-account mode covering claude.ai DOM translation, and a third-party API experimental mode that additionally patches the `inferenceModels` Anthropic name validator and rewrites the `Claude.exe` embedded asar header hash to allow non-Anthropic model names like `deepseek-v4-pro`. Both platforms also support optional CC Switch skills sync, linking skill directories from `~/.cc-switch/skills` into Claude Desktop without overwriting existing entries.
