ClaudeWave does not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. We use a small number of first-party cookies and localStorage entries, all under your control.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file your browser stores so a website can remember things about you. We also use localStorage, a similar mechanism that stays only in your browser.
Categories
Essential
Always active. Required for the site to function correctly.
- cw_consent_v1 — stores your cookie preferences (1 year)
- cw_admin — admin login session (only set if you log in to /admin, 30 days)
Analytics
Optional. Helps us understand which content is useful so we can improve the directory.
We do not set analytics cookies. We compute an anonymous session hash on the server (SHA-256 of IP + user agent + day) so we can count unique visitors without identifying anyone.
Marketing
Optional. Used only to remember which newsletter prompts you have dismissed, so we do not show them to you again.
- cw_popup_dismissed — remembers when you closed the newsletter popup (per popup)
- cw_sticky_bar_dismissed — remembers when you closed the newsletter sticky bar (7 days)
