Open Claude Cowork is an open-source Electron desktop application that combines the Claude Agent SDK with Composio's Tool Router to give Claude access to over 500 SaaS integrations, including Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Google Drive, and Google Calendar. The repository actually contains two distinct tools: the desktop chat interface itself, which runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux with persistent sessions, real-time token streaming via Server-Sent Events, and a sidebar that visualizes tool inputs and outputs; and Secure Clawdbot, a companion messaging assistant that connects Claude to WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, and iMessage for on-the-go use with persistent memory and browser automation. Both tools connect to Claude through the Anthropic API using the Claude Agent SDK, and support custom agent skills defined as Markdown files dropped into a `.claude/skills/` directory.
