Ultracite is a zero-configuration linting and formatting preset that bundles pre-tuned rule sets for three distinct toolchains: Biome, ESLint with Prettier and Stylelint, and the Rust-based Oxlint with Oxfmt. Running `npx ultracite init` launches an interactive setup that detects the active package manager, then writes configuration files for the chosen linter, editor, and AI agents in one pass. The AI-ready feature is the notable hook for Claude users: the init command accepts an `--agents` flag that generates ruleset and context files specifically for Claude Code, alongside Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and others, so both human developers and AI coding agents operate against the same style constraints. A `--install-skill` flag can additionally install a reusable Ultracite skill after setup. The tool also supports monorepos by applying a single unified configuration across all packages.
