Privacy policy

We keep this short and honest. ClaudeWave is a public directory of the Claude AI ecosystem. We collect the minimum data needed to run the newsletter, the directory, and to understand traffic — nothing more.

Who is responsible

ClaudeWave is operated by ElephantPink, a creative studio based in Marbella, Spain. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What data we collect

We only collect data you actively give us, plus the minimum technical data needed to serve the site.

  • Newsletter: Email address (when you subscribe). Stored locally and forwarded to Buttondown for delivery. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email.
  • Analytics: If you accept analytics, we record pageviews and click events with an anonymous session hash (SHA-256 of IP + user agent + day). No cookies are set, no IP is stored.
  • Repo submissions: Repo URL, your email (optional), and notes — only when you submit a repository for review.
  • Sponsor inquiries: Name, email, company and message when you fill the sponsor contact form.

Legal basis

Consent (newsletter, analytics, marketing cookies), contract (sponsor and submission requests you initiate), and legitimate interest (essential cookies and security logs).

How long we keep it

  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics events: 12 months, then aggregated and individual rows deleted.
  • Submissions and sponsor inquiries: until processed plus 24 months for audit purposes.

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Ask us to delete your data.
  • Receive a portable copy of your data.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@claudewave.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, AEPD).
