Peon-ping is a notification tool that plays video game voice lines and displays on-screen overlay banners whenever an AI coding agent completes a task or requires user input. It integrates with Claude Code via hooks registered in `.claude/settings.json`, and also supports Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, and roughly twenty other agents through dedicated adapters. Sound packs draw from Warcraft III Peon dialogue, StarCraft's Kerrigan, Portal, Zelda, and others, and users can browse and select packs interactively at peonping.com.
